Festivals

Two celebrations are held in fall, Halloween and the Harvest Festival.

Halloween

The first portion of the holiday goes from 9AM to 5PM/17:00 on Fall 13 in which Children don costumes and go around town asking for candy. They do not ask for anything specific, so any type of candy or even vegetable can be given to them, though they will not be pleased with the latter option. Children sick with disease will not wear a costume but can still be given candy. The next morning the Player receives a letter judging them on their participation and potentially a money prize.

The second portion of the holiday goes from 5PM/17:00 to 11PM/23:00 in the same field where the Summer Bake Off was held. There is a large bonfire around which many Villagers will dance. Many tables laden with food and pumpkin carving stuff is present. Caramel Apple and Apple Cider as well as their Recipes are available for purchase at this time.

Harvest Festival

This event starts at 9AM in the town square. Various activities can be found, such as a Spin the Wheel game with Astra Vosen (the cost to spin is 25 coins with potential prizes of 50 coins, 100 coins, or a pumpkin plush); a food vendor unique to the festival sells Pumpkin Pie and its recipe; and the Inn Keeper sells recipes for Autumn Salad, Squash Pasta, and Pumpkin Punch.

The most notable events of the festival are the Grange Display and the Animal Competition. For the Grange Display, speak to the Villager with an exclamation point above their head to enter. The Grange can be filled until noon and prizes - if applicable - are given out half an hour later. Up to nine products of any quality can be placed in the display. After the prize is received - 300 coins, a potted sunflower that can be given to the Crafting Pillar, and a mushroom stool - everything given to the Grange can be reclaimed. For the Animal Competition, talk to the Animal Farmer to enter. All available farm animals with age and health conditions are listed, but only one may be selected. The judging concludes at 3PM/15:00 and the winning prize is 300 coins.
