Spring marks the beginning of the year. There are eight crops grow in this Season, and three fruit trees. The Fishing Contest is held on Spring 13.

Fruit Trees
The following fruits may be gathered in spring. This does not apply only to your Farm; two Cherry Trees grow on the Bayley Dairy Farm which can be a good, albeit sparse, source of food for the beginning farmer. One fruit grows per day and a tree can hold no more than five.

Festival
The Fishing Contest is the main event for the month. It is on Spring 15 and is active from 8AM to 4PM/16:00. The sooner one starts the challenge, the more time is available to fish and increase your chances of winning. The winner receives 500 coins as well as fish tokens to be spent on three available prizes: a Rainbow Fishing Rod, a fishing rod of high durability for 500 tokens, a Painting for 300 tokens, and a plush fish that can be given to Children for 100 tokens. Prizes are the same each year.
The Mayor also sells fishing rods on this day since the Fisher is participating in the contest
