Local Mine

The Local Mine is located in north Honeywood. A Lantern is needed before the Player may enter, though they can enter with the Lantern unlit. Initially only two areas may be mined from, potentially receiving any of the first six items on the chart below. Only after attaining the Steel Pickaxe - a rare find from the Blacksmith - can any item from the list below be gathered. The pool in the mines is the only place to catch a Cavefish and a Ghost Fish. Occasionally Villagers with the Spelunker hobby can be found working in the mines. Their dialogue does not change when speaking to them, but they may sell items related to their hobby. They wear lit Lanterns but the light does not affect the Player's Darkness buff.

The Local Mine is also home to Old Man Rickett.
