Mysterious Noises

Mysterious Noises is a Quest all players get on Spring 6 of the first year (1701). When the player sleeps, they will be awoken at Midnight with the message that something strange was heard outside. The quest requires the player to follow the noise.
Quest Progression
Upon exiting the house, the player will see the sprite for Timothy Tweed, their friend from the tutorial. However, this sprite is a monochrome light blue, indicating that he is a Ghost. Timothy will move away from the player, prompting them to follow him across town to the House of Spells, where he will disappear. However, the town Witch, Astra Vosen, will be outside.
She informs the player that she hasn't seen anything, but that it is lucky that they happened to come by. Astra has lost a locket that was precious to her, across the ruined bridge at the end of town and just outside her house. If the player can return the locket to her, she will share some of the Island's secrets with them.
This triggers the Lost Locket quest to replace Mysterious Noises in the player's Quest log.
