The barn is one of the buildings that can be purchased in order to keep animals. Once built, the player will be able to purchase cows, sheep, pigs and goats. This unlocks more farming options in-game, and interacting with barn animals increases farming skill.
The barn contains a feeding trough that can hold one stack of straw. Each animal consumes one straw every day.
Building
A barn can be bought at Brothers Carpentry, by speaking to the any carpenter and selecting the Build option. It is a high-cost investment, and requires materials as well as coins to be provided.
Once a barn is built, it can be upgraded to the larger version, and you can build multiple barns.
