Summer

Summer marks the second of the Seasons. 8 Crops can be grown exclusively at this time, as well as 5 varieties of Fruit, 2 of which grow on Bushes. The Bake Off is held in Summer.

Bushes take 10 days before fully grown, and are harvested by the same rules as the trees, needing to be shaken at least every 5 days to produce at full capacity.

Festival

The Bake Off is the main event for the month. It is held on Summer 15 starting at noon in the field north of the Ryle farm, behind the otherwise closed wooden gate. To participate you must register with the Mayor prior to noon (they can be hard to find, so don't pay your Taxes before the event so their location on the map can easily be found).

For the event itself, you are prompted by three judges to prepare dishes for them. The center Stove is your designated work station. All potential ingredients are made available (not positive about specialty ingredients like Turmeric) You may be asked to make a dish you don't know; you can request a new meal at a cost of some points or throw ingredients together to learn the dish (all are listed on the Cooking page) The usual time amounts to make a meal do not apply, everything is quick. There is no end to the dishes requested, simply make as much as you can in the time allotted. The clock continues to roll as you bake. Winning prize is 500 gold, and a prepared as well as a Recipe for Blueberry Cream Cake. Any ingredients collected during the event are removed from your inventory upon its conclusion.
