Walking through a grove

Thistle Island is the place where the majority of Echoes of the Plum Grove takes place. The island is home to many natural features include groves, a mine, and a beach. The town of Honeywood is located on it.

It is a fictional island based between two large continents in the northern hemisphere. The island can only be reached by large ships as there is no major land source close to it. It takes ships roughly 1 full month to journey to the island but due to its center between the two large continents, it has a bustling port with ships coming and going every week. Only during the winter season do ships not venture to Thistle Island due to the treacherous storms. There is history between the two opposing continents with the Empire on one side, and the Continentals on the other. The town of Honeywood still pays their taxes to the Empire, but villagers are starting to get frustrated with so much of their taxes going somewhere else. Some villagers will have opinions on the conflict while others care little.

It has an interesting geographical footprint compared to most other landforms. Though the island is relatively small, it has on its northern side, a small but entire mountain range. This mountain range is based on the developers of the game home state of Washington and its silhouette is heavily influenced by the Olympic mountain range. Apart from the mountain range, it has a vast untouched forest where many wildlife will venture, a rocky coastline, an old cave system, and a freshwater bog. Many of these locations were inspired by Washington State parks.
