Pets

Pets will wander around the farm, including the house. They do not need to be fed and will never die. They can be sold if you no longer want them.

Wild Animals

Wild Animals are rarely found in the forest (forest, deep forest, waterfall). When they appear, they remain for 30 minutes minimum (approximately 3 in-game hours). (Time needs clarification. 3 in-game hours is 3 minutes.) They give items when petted and are needed for the Animal Whisperer Achievement.
